M. Eric Rimes

Eric Rimes studied at Florida State University and the Yale School of Drama. Before beginning his teaching at NCSA, Mr. Rimes toured as an electrician, pyrotechnician, and moving-light technician with productions of “Aida,” “Ragtime,” “Martin Guerre,” “Spirit,” “Jekyll and Hyde,” and “Beauty and the Beast.” He has also served as electrician for the Vee Corporation, lighting consultant for Hey City Theatre, assistant automation shop supervisor for Scenic Technologies, and assistant consultant for Theater Projects Consultants. Mr. Rimes has served as production electrician for Carolina Ballet’s “Nutcracker” and as advance electrician for the national tour of “Wicked.” Mr. Rimes is a member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE). |
