Howard Jones earned his B.A. from William Jewell College and his master’s from Mankato State College. He has taught scene painting and design at the North Carolina School of the Arts since 1982. He is one of the original founders of Cobalt Studios in White Lake, N.Y., and has designed at Goodspeed Opera, Starlight Theatre, State Ballet of Missouri, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, North Shore Music Theatre, New Theatre, North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, Triad Stage, and Merrimack Repertory Theatre. Mr. Jones is a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
