Guitarist Gerald Klickstein concertizes and teaches throughout the United States, appearing as a solo recitalist, chamber musician and clinician. Since 1992, he has been a member of the distinguished artist/faculty of the North Carolina School of the Arts where his students consistently earn top awards in a variety of guitar competitions. Possessing more than twenty years of experience teaching in higher education, he has also served on the music faculties of Michigan State University, the University of Texas at San Antonio and Lansing Community College. His writings and musical arrangements are published by Southern Music Company, Tuscany Publications, the American String Teachers Association and Mel Bay Publications. He earned the Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Miami.
