Soprano Marilyn Taylor began her career with the Kentucky Opera where she served as artist-in-residence. She has sung with Kentucky Opera, Piedmont Opera Theatre, Dayton Opera and Indiana University Opera Theatre and on the concert stage with the Bonn Philharmonic, the Prague Chamber Orchestra, the Louisville Bach Society, the Louisville Twentieth-Century Series, the Toledo Symphony, and the Brooklyn Philharmonic under the direction of Dennis Russell Davies. Miss Taylor is a recipient of a George London Grant, awarded to emerging artists who demonstrate “a full range of professional acting, musical and vocal talent.” She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Louisville, and is a doctoral candidate at Indiana University.
