FIRST MISS NCSA PAGEANT TO BE HELD SUNDAY, OCT. 28, IN WATSON HALL
Miss North Carolina 2007 and Miss Forsyth County 2008 To Appear

WINSTON-SALEM – The First Miss NCSA Pageant will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, in Watson Chamber Music Hall of the School of Music Complex at the North Carolina School of the Arts, 1533 South Main St., Winston-Salem. Admission is free and open to the public.

“Against popular belief, this is not a beauty pageant,” said Judson Fraley, assistant director of the Office of Student Activities in the Division of Student Life. “It is an opportunity to demonstrate the awesome talents, intellect and poise of some great young women here at NCSA.”

Special guests scheduled to appear include Jessica Jacobs, Miss North Carolina 2007, and Erica Dellinger, Miss Forsyth County 2008.

There will be seven contestants who together represent three of the arts schools at NCSA. They are:

  • Jasmine Wilson of Fayetteville, N.C. High school music student.
  • Monica Williams of Greenville, S.C. College drama student.
  • Jasmine Osborne of Pikeville, Ky. College drama student.
  • Lindsey Matheis of Raleigh, N.C. High school dance student.
  • Kelsey McJunkins of Charlotte, N.C. College music student.
  • Jameesa Yarborough of Creedmoor, N.C. High school music student.
  • Lindsey Mandolini of Chicago, Ill. High school dance student.
