NCSA TO HOST “THREAT ASSESSMENT SEMINAR”
FOR CAMPUS LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL, COLLEGE ADMINISTRATORS
ON FRIDAY, MARCH 28
Presented by the N.C. Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators


WINSTON-SALEM – The North Carolina Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (NCACLEA) will present a “Threat Assessment Seminar” from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 28, on the campus of the North Carolina School of the Arts.

The training will be held in the Hanes Student Commons on the NCSA campus, 1533 South Main St., Winston-Salem.

The seminar will feature two threat assessment models. Deputy Chief John Dailey of North Carolina State University will present the Gavin De Becker Mosaic Threat Assessment System, and Captain Paul Lester of the University of North Carolina-Greensboro will present the U.S. Secret Service’s Threat Assessment System.

Chief Jeff McCracken of UNC-Chapel Hill, the president of NCACLEA, and Chief Deb Cheesebro of the North Carolina School of the Arts have arranged to offer this seminar at no cost to regional campus law enforcement personnel and college administrators.  More than 100 regional law enforcement personnel and college administrators have registered to attend the seminar.

During the lunch break, the North Carolina School of the Arts will offer a demonstration of its Outdoor Emergency Notification System to interested participants.
