 NCSA FILM “SURRENDERING IN A CHAMPION’S WORLD”
TO PLAY AT BERMUDA IFF, ONLINE AT CINEQUEST
 


WINSTON-SALEM – The North Carolina School of the Arts film SURRENDERING IN A CHAMPION’S WORLD has been accepted by the Bermuda International Film Festival, which will be held March 18-24. The film will be screened in theatres there on March 18 and 20. For more information, visit www.bermudafilmfest.com.

Most recently, the film was screened at the Santa Fe Film Festival in December 2004.  

A visual exploration of narcissism and competition in contemporary culture, SURRENDERING IN A CHAMPION’S WORLD is a film of an original dance choreographed by NCSA School of Dance faculty member Trish Casey. Casey and School of Filmmaking faculty member Arledge Armenaki were co-directors; Armenaki was also the film’s director of photography. The project was a collaborative effort among the faculty, staff and students of the Schools of Dance, Design and Production, and Filmmaking at the North Carolina School of the Arts.
