Summer Music

Welcome to the North Carolina School of the Arts Summer Music Programs! NCSA offers aspiring musicians of all ages the opportunity to experience distinguished teaching in our state-of –the-art conservatory. Students are immersed in an intensive and supportive musical environment with faculty who are world-class performers and dedicated teachers. The student’s experience is further augmented by the rich community that is the North Carolina School of the Arts: an extensive library, the wonderful concert halls in which participants present performances, the newly-designed Fitness Center, and a vibrant campus with dance, drama, filmmaking, and visual arts.

Chamber Music Institute

Requirements
Apply
All students classified in grades 12 or below are eligible to earn high school credit for participation in the full session of the Chamber Music Institute. College students enrolled in the full session of the Chamber Music Institute earn college semester hours.
High School – one half unit;
College – three semester hours.
No credit is earned for Musica Piccola, the short session of the Chamber Music Institute, the Vocal Workshop, the Guitar Workshop, or the Piano Workshop.
Minimum age – 12 years. |
