Important Message
The roundabout is open! If you are coming to NCSA from downtown, please note that transportation officials have reopened to traffic sections of South Main Street and Salem Avenue that were closed for construction of a new roundabout. The new roundabout is a major improvement for traffic flow to NCSA.
Construction is continuing on campus, as projects funded by the UNC higher education bonds are progressing. Visitors may experience temporary parking disruptions due to construction. Please be assured we are making our campus better for you, and the inconvenience is only temporary. NCSA Police will be on hand for every performance and event to assist with parking.
Visitors to the campus may once again travel from the Main Street entrance to Ehle Drive (formerly Waughtown Street) on Giannini Drive.
A circle drive allows patrons to drop off guests at Performance Place and Watson Hall. You may access the circle drive from Main Street or from Ehle Drive.
There are two gated entrances to Ehle Drive; one, at Fayetteville Street, and one, at Chapel Street.
Please note that the Chapel Street entrance that is marked by brick columns (beside the Creative Learning Center) no longer provides access to Performance Place or Watson Hall. However, it is an entrance for Agnes de Mille Theatre and Crawford Hall; follow the signs to your left as you come in the entrance.
Where To Park
Visitors to campus may park in any of several designated visitors’ parking spaces near the Administration Building on Ehle Drive, in the School of Filmmaking visitor lot, and behind the Hanes Student Commons. Otherwise, visitors may park in non-reserved parking spaces around the campus, provided that they receive a temporary parking parmit from Campus Police. For more information, contact the Campus Police at 336-770-3321.
During times that there are performances and special events on campus, our Campus Police will be on hand to assist with parking and to direct visitors and audiences to performance and meeting spaces.

- Performance Place and Watson Hall, audiences may use the parking lots next to and across the street from the Administration Building on Ehle Drive, as well as new spaces along Ehle Drive, and the School of Filmmaking visitor lot.

- Crawford Hall, a parking lot located directly behind Gray Building is accessible from the Chapel Street entrance.
